-
- OPERATING TIP FOR WINDOWS USERS WITH MULTIPLE CD-ROM DRIVES, NETWORKS, OR
- CD-ROM MULTICHANGER DRIVES:
-
- When CD-ROM SELECTOR is launched using the icon as described above, it first
- attempts to locate the CD-ROM drive containing the CD-ROM SELECTOR disc by
- testing all system drives until it finds the correct one. This can cause an
- unwanted startup delay on a large system. To prevent this, launch CD-ROM
- SELECTOR from the command line of the Program Manager, and supply the correct
- drive letter as a parameter to CDR1.EXE:
-
- From the Program Manager, click 'File' to display the File Menu, then click
- 'Run'. In the Command Line box, type "X:\cdr1.exe X:", (where X is the letter
- of your CD-ROM drive). Click the 'OK' button to start the program.
-
-
